Tony Moore and his family were holidaying in New Zealand in January 2011, unaware that floods had hit Brisbane and flooded their West End home. He also had no idea that friend Cesca Lejeune and her family had saved all Tony’s possessions before the floods hit. Tony and Cesca talk about that time.
Tony, how lucky you are to have wonderful friends like Cesca and co. I enjoyed listening to your personal recount of this harrowing time. You have inspired me to organize a recording session with my mother who has interesting stories of her time growing up in Holland during the war.
